TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the body of a woman was located during searches for the missing Bobbi-Anne McLeod.

Bobbi-Anne, 18, was reported missing to police on Saturday evening after she failed to meet with friends in Plymouth, Devon.

She was due to meet friends - but reportedly never boarded a bus into the city centre to meet them

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesman said earlier today the body of a woman was located near Bovisand, South Hams, during searches by police officers.

The area is about nine miles from Sheepstor Road in Plymouth, where Bobbi-Anne was due to get a bus to meet friends in the city centre.

Formal identification has yet to be carried out but Bobbi-Anne's family have been informed of this development and are being supported by investigators.

Two men, aged 24 and 26 from Plymouth have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in police custody.

Her brother, Lee McLeod, paid tribute to his ...beautiful and talented... sister online, less than 24 hours after appealing for help finding the teenager.

He wrote: ...Until we meet again sis. I love you.

...You didn't deserve this, such a beautiful and talented girl, and to have you as my little sister, the adventure and journey we had will always be treasured. Now go rest easy....

Chief Superintendent Matt Longman said: ...This is weighing heavy on the people of Plymouth tonight, it really is.

...And I would just like to send my thoughts to the friends and family of Bobbi-Anne; that actually feels like it's a relatively inadequate thing to say at such a time....

Police were understood to have discovered the teen's headphones and a pouch of tobacco at a bus stop.

Her mobile phone has also been handed into police, it is reported.

The Labour MP for Plymouth Sutton and Devonport Luke Pollard said the discovery of a body was ...devastating news....

He tweeted: ...It is devastating news for our city that a body has been discovered in the search for missing Bobbi-Anne. My thoughts and love are with the family.

...We await news from the Police but this is another dark day for our city. Let's pull together in the same way we did after Keyham....

Earlier Bobbi-Anne's distraught brother Lee McLeod said he believed ...someone has my f***ing sister....

In a desperate Facebook post, Lee has begged for help to find missing Bobbi-Anne, who was last seen leaving her home in Leigham, Plymouth, at around 6pm on Saturday.

Now Lee has taken to social media to tell of his anguish.

...Police have rung and someone has handed in Bobbi's mobile,... he said.

...I’m begging everyone single person in Plymouth help me search everywhere search everything.

...Someone has my f***ing sister.

...My sister's phone has been tracked by police, however due to the phone being off, they’ve managed to know she’s still in the Plymouth area but don’t know her actual location.

...Please, please people - you hear anything, see anything, tell me....

He said the family believe Bobbi-Ann ...never even got on the bus... as her ticket wasn't used.

...Has anyone seen Bobbi Mcleod? Please get hold of me asap,... he said.

DESPERATE PLEA

Meanwhile, worried pals have issued a desperate plea for information on a Facebook group aimed at finding Bobbi-Ann.

Amanda Issacs, 34, said the missing girl had been on her way to meet her boyfriend of six months but never showed up.

She added: ...It's going to be 72 hours since her disappearance at 6pm tonight and there's just no sign of her.

...By the signs of it, it does look like she has been taken from a bus stop because she was due to get on this bus and she never got on it.

...I live next door and I'm a close family friend, she's not one to just disappear, it's very odd.

...She's a very in girl, she is very family orientated, she's got a boyfriend - he's ever so nice - and a few friends. She's just a lovely girl and this is so out of character for her.

...SOMEONE'S GOT HER'

...She is 18, but she is very tiny and very slim that she probably looks about 15 in reality....

Bobbi-Anne had been due to get a bus from Sheepstor Road into the city centre.

She has been described as 4ft 11ins, of a slight build with brown, shoulder-length hair and green eyes.

Police say she has piercings and is believed to have been wearing a grey Nike jumper, black ripped jeans, fishnet tights and light Nike trainers.

Detective Inspector Matt Lawrence said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has seen Bobbi-Anne since she left her home on Saturday, or from anyone who knows of her current whereabouts.

“Bobbi-Anne may be reading this appeal, if you are then please get in touch; You are not in trouble, we just need to know that you are safe and well.”

Anyone with information can call Devon and Cornwall Police on 101 quoting log number 879 for Saturday 20 November.
